Grant Younglove is the owner of Younglove Photography. He specializes in wedding photography but also has great skills at portrait photography. You will see the proof of his talent through every photograph he has taken. He developed his interest in taking pictures at a very young age through his father, who is also a photographer. Their family lived in Riverside. It was still very vivid in his memory the fairly stylish set up hobby of his father. He always remembers his father in the darkroom making the enlargements for their Christmas cards every year. He started to become passionate in taking pictures in weddings when he saw his father’s friend got married and he took pictures for them. He also added that his father initiated the use of the color film in shooting weddings during the late 50’s and 60’s.

Grant never had an idea that he could be able to earn a living with his fascination in taking pictures. He was majoring in Biology at UC Riverside that time when he met another photographer. To make the long story short, that person opened his mind to all the business aspects of photography. From then on, he decided to continue his passion and he became successful in it. He received several awards on the following years. One of the remarkable trophies that he received was from the National Photographic Instructors of America. He won the First (1 st) Place in that competition.

In 1985, he formally started his business. It was really a perfect timing because at that time, it was very in demand all throughout the Orange County. Approximately 75 % of all his clients all came from referrals. He truly enjoys looking at every wedding picture and portraiture he has taken. He is considered very lucky because he really loves what he’s doing and very thankful that he made the right decision to change his career while he was still in college.

His educational background will prove that he really wants to be professional on his chosen field. He took his Masters in Communication Arts at the Loyola Marymount University in 1981 to 1983. It was in 1980 when he took a Course work in photography at the Orange Coast College. And, in 1979 to 1980 in U.C. Irvine, he obtained his bachelors in Biology and Photo Editor. During 1975 to 1978, he devoted his time in studying the course work in Photography and Biology at the Rochester Institute of Technology and University of CA in Riverside. With all his gained knowledge and skills, you can be sure that he is not just good but he is best in his profession.
